About Our Team

Local Drilling Services is family owned and operated, with over 35 years combined drilling experience between us. We live in the South Burnett, run our business from our local base, our children attend our local schools, our workers live in the area with their families, we love living and working in rural Queensland.

We are passionate about our rural communities that we live and work in, as part of our core beliefs of supporting each other we spend our money in the local rural towns we drill in and sponsor many local junior and senior sporting teams and community events.

Our drilling journey started in the early 2000's on oil and gas rigs in western QLD, starting from the bottom as fresh faced lease hands, from there we worked our way through years of long, hot and dirty day's to climb the ranks to become qualified drillers, then rig supervisors and managers. We then spread our wings and ventured into just about every way you can drill a hole. From water bore drilling to coal and mineral hard rock exploration throughout Australia, geothermal, exploration and water drilling in NZ and Geotech and civil works all over. 

Local Drilling Services owners and teams have drilled countless drilling programs for customers ranging from the worlds largest mining and energy companies, to junior resource clients, rural and private landholder's, commercial and local/state governments.

Water bores, exploration drilling, bore inspections, or decommissioning, we are your locals who can do it all! If it involves drilling a hole, chances are we have done it, and can do it or can find a way to get it done.

Our drillers have advanced trade certificates for water drilling and exploration, as well as well control qualifications for oil and gas. We can drill holes of all sizes, from 6m to 600m! Need a bore cleanout? We do that as well.
